Kirill Buyukly is in his final year of his Business Management degree at the University of Manchester. He is interested in pursuing a career in Fintech and Finance, which he has been able to explore through our Fintech 360 course and the Global Fintech Internship through which he had the opportunity to work with a Fintech startup Chipper Cash.

CFTE: What motivated you to take our Fintech 360 course?
Kirill: The Fintech industry impacts our lives on an everyday basis through its connection to financial services. I believe it is crucial for students to learn about the industry. I was reading books and took courses on Fintech before to deepen my learning, however when enabled to take FinTech 360, I chose to continue my learning through this course.
CFTE: What did you enjoy the most about the course? Any main points that stood out to you?
Kirill: FinTech 360 is an extensive by-sector review of the industry but is easily digestible due to its bite-sized format. Each week there is a new tutor who has merits in each sector. Content-wise, I loved the week on AI because of how the complex concepts were explained in an easy-to-understand manner. I also enjoyed the week on Open Banking because of how it combined both technical and business orientated overviews of the sector.
CFTE: And finally, if you could describe yourself in 3 words or less, what would those be?
Kirill: Diligent, Ambitious, Experimentalist
