CFTE, Centre for Finance Technology and Entrepreneurship, had the pleasure to take part in the Award ceremony celebrating ‘The Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech list, published by Diversity UK aiming to highlight the business models, apps, funding and supporting Asian networks of digital entrepreneurs in the UK’.
CFTE’s co-founders, Huy Nguyen Trieu and Tram Anh Nguyen were both awarded on the evening special nomination as Top 10 Asia Tech Pioneers in the UK’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builders. Huy and Tram Anh are both thrilled to receive the awards ‘Entrepreneurship ecosystem builders, Asian Tech Heroes’ by Equality Charity Diversity UK, in association with Law firm Eversheds Sutherland and Cambridge-based Biorbyt, which is one of Europe’s largest bio-reagents suppliers.
The event took place in Central London on Wednesday, 5th of July 2023, where they simultaneously released the ‘Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2023 list’, which is the 9th year we have celebrated the outstanding contribution of British Asians to the country’s digital economy. The list includes entrepreneurs, technologists, venture capitalists, policymakers and game changers joined by Colin Tan FRSA, Jamie Qiu, Kamran Rashid, Kevin Withane (FRSA), Manoj Ranaweera, Nadia Danhash, Nikita Thakrar, Riam Kanso. CFTE is thrilled to celebrate an elite group of individuals who have helped to build Britain’s technology sector to thrive towards a dynamic ecosystem in the digital era.
In this technology-driven industry, Huy and Tram Anh strongly believe that people are at the centre of society and organisations. CFTE, co-founded in 2017 by Huy and Tram Anh, both of Vietnamese origins, resided in the UK for over two decades, and extended their careers in the finance and fintech industry before setting up CFTE. They started CFTE with a mission: an ed-tech platform facilitating the industry to acquire technology knowledge fast and efficiently, across various topics from Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, and Open Banking, to Extrapreneurship programmes. With an engaging community of over 165,000 alumni from 130 countries today, this large community is actively contributing to the UK Fintech revolution.
Tram Anh, CFTE’s Co-Founder quotes: “I am honoured to receive this award and would like to share it with my team and our community as an inspiration to move restlessly towards the integration of finance and technology. How do we create an inclusive industry with all the incredible entrepreneurs and leaders gathered together? Having trust and belief in women is one of the amazing things I found today, especially female leaders and founders, and the idea of addressing inequality and the gender gap by promoting inclusivity and equitable opportunities. This recognition is to all the people who have been part of the CFTE Community in the UK and in Asia ”.
The Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech list, compiled by equality charity Diversity UK and selected by an independent judging panel, the list continues to highlight those exceptional individuals at the leading edge of the tech industry.
Thank you for the contributions of all the judges, entrepreneurial ecosystem builders, and investors, extending our warmest Congratulations to all the Top 100 Asians In Tech.
