Dubai, 16 July 2025 -The Innovation Hub of the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) and the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the strategic collaboration in innovation, future foresight, and national talent development. The partnership supports the UAE’s strategic direction toward building a knowledge-based digital economy.
The signing of the MoU was witnessed by H.E. Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EIF. The MoU was signed by H.E. Saif Humaid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of Banking Operations and Support Services at CBUAE and Vice Chairman of EIF, and Huy Nguyen Trieu, Co-founder of CFTE, during a ceremony held at the EIF Innovation Hub in Dubai.
As part of the MoU, two parties will collaborate to co-develop high-impact programmes aimed at empowering national talent with future-ready skills, promoting entrepreneurship in financial innovation, and enhancing the financial sector’s readiness for digital transformation. These efforts align with the UAE’s priorities to advance Emiratisation and develop the digital capabilities of the national cadre to meet the needs of the next phase. Furthermore, both parties will also explore opportunities to co-host workshops, seminars, and advanced educational initiatives. Together, these joint efforts will help strengthen the resilience of the UAE’s financial sector amid global shifts, while fostering a learning environment that encourages innovation and forward-thinking.
