New programme from the Luxembourg Academy of Digital Finance for professionals to develop entrepreneurial skills.
Following a partnership signed during the Singapore Fintech Festival 2019, CFTE and The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) recently released the Fintech Entrepreneurship Programme. This week-long fully online programme is conceived to help learners adapting to the new challenges in the finance sector. By combining cutting-edge fintech knowledge and entrepreneurship training from four top European CEOs, learners will gain the agility and skills to thrive under uncertain times.
Participants will receive lectures providing them with an understanding of aspects of both fintech and entrepreneurship. Learners will then be divided into teams and provided with a problem statement by one of 4 rapidly expanding fintech startups. They will work as a team to solve the case studies supported by industry expert mentors, namely:
Olivier Debeugny, CEO at Lingua Custodia, will mentor professionals on an AI challenge, where participants will bring to the market a new tool to identify greenwashing.
Bert Boerman, CEO at Governance.com, who will mentor professionals on a RegTech challenge, where learners will build a product to help fund managers contribute to a sustainable world, by monitoring, reducing and disclosing sustainability risks (ESG) in their portfolios.
Luc Falempin, CEO at Tokeny Solutions, who will mentor professionals on a Blockchain challenge, where participants will learn how to leverage blockchain technologies to make green finance more accessible and attractive.
Jacques Putz, CEO at LUXHUB, who will mentor professionals on an Open Banking challenge, where participants will build a product offer relevant for incumbent financial institutions wishing to offer their retail clients a unique customer experience embracing their environmental concerns.
After working in groups on the specific use-cases, teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of expert judges.
After completion of the programme, learners will have:
- The capacity to apply design thinking and agile methodologies to a Fintech Project
- Experienced working with Leading Fintech Firms in Luxembourg
- Been mentored by successful Founders and Innovation executives
- Developed and enhanced their network
