London, 16 October 2019 – The Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) has announced a landmark partnership with the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) in the UK, effective today.
This partnership will see CFTE providing Fintech content for the Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management programme offered by ACT. This intensive training provides a practical understanding of the tools, techniques, and financial products used by treasurers as well as how to apply these to real-life, contemporary issues.
Tram Anh Nguyen, co-founder CFTE said “I am excited to be working with ACT. The partnership with ACT further proofs the quality and knowledge of our experts.”
“We are honoured to share our expertise and hope to encourage more corporate treasurers to equip themselves with the skills needed in this new world of treasury.”
Founded in 1979, the ACT is the only professional treasury body with a Royal Charter in the UK. It aims to embed the highest standards of quality and integrity in the treasury and act as its leading advocate. It offers several levels of globally recognised qualification pathways for aspiring corporate treasurers and fosters professional growth through industry events, publications and webinars.
“We are delighted that CFTE contributes the content to our certified course, with their proven track record in Fintech education”, said Caroline Stockmann, Chief Executive and Board Member of ACT.
“Their expertise will help to upskill future corporate treasurers in order to embrace this exciting new world of finance.”
The partnership is the next step to working with regulatory bodies, with CFTE recently receiving CPD accreditation for its Fintech online courses. To date, over 40,000 finance professionals have been upskilled through CFTE courses worldwide. The signature Fintech Foundation and AI in Finance online courses have been developed by experts from leading Universities, financial institutions, startups and regulators, such as MIT, Imperial College, Citi or Starling Bank.
