London, 1 June 2023 (Thursday) – Following the analysis of 200+ blockchain projects and 100 experts interviewed, the reference programme for Blockchain and Digital Assets launches with 25+ global industry experts involved. The programme is supported by the accreditation from Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and endorsed by Swift Institute.
The UK and Singapore partnership between CFTE and Singapore Management University was born at the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF), one of the largest Fintech events worldwide a few months ago.
Blockchain is disrupting the financial industry but there is a lack of tools for professionals to keep up with the pace. Recognising this critical knowledge gap, two organisations – CFTE and Singapore Management University – have come together with a shared mission: to equip the industry with the essential skills on blockchain and digital assets, one of the most crucial topics in the digital market economy.
While the original adoption of blockchain started on the retail side, blockchain is now driven by financial institutions with more than 200+ blockchain and digital assets projects in development worldwide. After months of efforts analysing blockchain projects, designing comprehensive curriculum and interviewing hundreds of industry experts, CFTE and SMU developed a reference programme for the industry, aiming to upskill the industry to thrive in the new world of finance.
Behind all the noise around cryptocurrencies and buzzwords, there are truly interesting projects happening today. Large institutions such as central banks, financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, and asset managers are implementing real projects based on these technologies. It’s crucial to keep up with the times, just like we said four years ago with AI, and to start learning about these advancements. The time is now, and we must all be a part of this evolution.
Huy Nguyen Trieu, Co-founder and Programme Director at CFTE.
