CFTE is honoured to welcome Dr.Samina Zehra, Economic Minister Pakistan High Commission in London. Our Co-founder, Huy NGUYEN TRIEU and Dr.Samina Zehra had a discussion focused on a forward-thinking approach to education, particularly the important role of AI and IT skills.
They emphasised how equipping students with comprehensive training can help scale education and build a future-ready workforce, prepared for the evolving demands of the market. Both also emphasised the significance of entrepreneurship in financial services and banking, expressing excitement for connecting with the flagship project of Punjab, Pakistan – Ravi Urban Development Authority-RUDA with Qureshi Kashif, Executive Director of RUDA.
Ravi Urban Development Authority-RUDA is a unique project of the Government of Punjab. The authority has been created by the Act of Parliament for building a new city alongside River Ravi of Lahore. It will be Pakistan’s first largest riverfront (46 kilometers long) that will be developed on the bank of the Ravi River with a total area of approx. 140,000 acres and will be developed for 5 million residents.
Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) intends to develop urban areas of the province into sustainable, liveable, and well-managed engines for economic growth. Urban development and its management are critically linked with sound comprehensive and strategic metropolitan-level long-term planning. The authority envisions not only developing new projects but also revitalizing and uplifting of the rural community which comes under the jurisdiction of Ravi City.
