YEO is a Card payment Guru and Digital payment Expert with over 15 years of experience in the payment industry. He is the Country Manager for the largest-and fastest-growing African Payment Services Provider called DPO Group. His job scope is mainly about market development, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
CFTE: As somebody who works in the payments space, what motivated you to learn about Conversational AI?
YEO: I am really passionate and enthusiastic about Fintech in general and particularly what concerns the payment industry. That is why, I decided to become a driving force in automating the process of certain departments, divisions and functions of the Online Payment sector within my company. For example, introducing a Chat Box feature for Customer Care services to become more efficient and productive and utilise Artificial Intelligence in monitoring transactions around the clock to prevent transaction fraud .
CFTE: How have you implemented the knowledge and skills you acquired through the courses?
YEO: Certain parts of the courses were vital knowledge for me such as implementation in automating processes such as KYC checking, transaction review and monitoring, etc;
From there, hopefully I could capitalise my knowledge and skills in the near future by setting up a consulting firm for Banks and Insurance companies which embraces Technology and Conservational Artificial Intelligence to improve their performance and productivity.
CFTE: What did you find the most enjoyable about the course? What are the main takeaways for you?
YEO: The Conversational AI sessions were an enriching experience for me. I particularly appreciated the case studies, knowledge sharing sessions with industry experts and learning about the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve our traditional banking industry .
CFTE: Finally, before you go, could you describe yourself in 3 words or less?
YEO: I always described myself as a devoted, determined lion fighting spirit.
