We’re delighted to announce that our co-founder, Tram Anh Nguyen is going to Kigali Rwanda, honoured Ambassador for the Inclusive Fintech Forum in Kigali. This is of course such a great honour for Tram Anh Nguyen to be an ambassador for this forum to help facilitate financial inclusion together with other industry leaders and the community.
Tram Anh Nguyen, co-founded one of the fastest growing knowledge platforms – CFTE, Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship in Fintech and Digital Finance, based in the UK, Singapore and Abu Dhabi since 2017. She is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the fintech industry, as exemplified by her role as an Ambassador of the Inclusive Fintech Forum and Singapore Fintech Festival. Her work with CFTE and her advocacy for upskilling in the industry align with the Forum’s mission to foster inclusive innovation in financial services and provide a platform for underrepresented entrepreneurs and innovators.
This year, the Inclusive Fintech Forum 2023 will take place in Rwanda from 20 to 22 in June, and will feature a wide range of events, including keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities. The three-day event will cover topics such as Digital Payments, Micro-Wealth Management, ESG Financing and Insurance & Pensions, etc and discuss financial inclusion in depth.
As a partner at Inclusive Fintech Forum, Tram Anh Nguyen is running a workshop with CFTE on Building a Digital Workforce in Africa. Fintech revenues could reach $30 billion by 2025 in Africa, making digital finance a significant part of financial services. This workshop, held on June 21st at 1:15 pm – 2:15 pm (Kigali time), is designed to equip people with the skills and knowledge needed to build a digital-ready workforce for the future.
Tram Anh Nguyen will speak at Industry Unplugged: Expert Conversations on June 20th at 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm. The session will cover digital transformation, innovation, fintech adoption and career pathway in financial services. Participants will gain valuable insights into the challenges, trends, and future of the finance industry from industry experts.
In additional to the two sessions. CFTE, Elevandi and Singapore Management University are offering to give 5,000 certificates for students to learn about FinTech in Africa for free. This initiative of Online Certificate for Fintech in Africa is launched during Inclusive FinTech Forum.
Featuring leading experts in the industry, the comprehensive programme is composed of 7 masterclasses and 6 sessions of industry insights in Fintech, AI, Regtech, Payments, Blockchain, Open Banking and Sustainability. Learners will also get the chance to acquire the most important trends in the region from the #entrepreneurs who are #building #Fintech in #Africa with case studies.
Tram Anh Nguyen has been a focal on financial inclusion, upskill and reskill talents in the financial industry. She is a Non-Executive Director of Passerelles Numeriques, serves as Advisory Board Member, Panel Board Advisory for the Association of Corporate Treasurers, EDHEC Business School and an exco Member of Global Impact FinTech (GIFT) Forum.
She is also the co-author of the Fintech Job Report Book, the Blockchain Job Report. Her work is being published in a report between CFTE and Elevandi called New Skills in Financial Services. She is passionate about lifelong learning and advocates for continuous education as the best tool to help people adapt to a fast-changing world.
Additionally, Tram Anh is entrepreneurship expert at Saïd Business School, Oxford, and an Industry Fellow of Imperial College. She collaborates with governments, policymakers, industry experts, and academia to push initiatives in financial education for Finance 2.0, in order to transform the industry and help a diverse range of stakeholders, including women and individuals from different backgrounds and walks of life, enter the new world of finance.
