| We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate this important day than with the people who made our journey possible. We were thrilled to have a chance to reconnect with over 200 friends, including alumni, experts and partners. The evening started with a keynote of Lex Sokolin, Head Economist at ConsenSys, who shared his insights on the future of finance. |
| Then, it was an opportunity for our co-founders, Huy NGUYEN TRIEU and Tram Anh Nguyen, to share the 5-year-long journey of CFTE. From releasing our very first course, “Fintech foundations”, to launching the on-demand THINK platform with over 300 experts sharing their knowledge and experience. |
| With the 5th anniversary of CFTE, it is about celebration, it is also gratitude. And it’s about thanking all those who have been part of our journey, and continue to be very important to us. This is of course the CFTE Family at large, all those who work and have worked at CFTE. This is of course our alumni, the 100k people around the world who have taken CFTE courses, those who we really, really care about. And of course the experts and partners around the world, those who share the same values as us, and who are passionate about making an impact. In 5 years, a lot of milestones have been achieved at CFTE. So we wrapped them all up in a short video: |
| This evening was the opportunity to look ahead and announce new projects by CFTE. The first announcement was about CFTE’s partnership with GBSN, the Global Business School Network, on creating the world’s first centre for Excellence in Fintech. CFTE was founded with the objective of ‘education at scale. As we anticipated the continuing growth of digital finance, we wanted to make sure that good Fintech education and opportunities were not restricted to just a few people in the main financial centres, but to everyone and today also to the students. We’re thrilled to see the great partnership between GBSN – Global Business School Network and CFTE. We’ll co-develop the world’s first centre for excellence in Fintech, connecting academia to practise to accelerate the development of Fintech education to the developing world. Then, we shared our collaboration between GIFT, Global Impact Fintech Forum and CFTE to develop an initiative for professionals in emerging markets to access Fintech skills. This aims to support governments and organisations around the world to help individuals to acquire Fintech knowledge and be part of the fastest growing area of finance. Next, CFTE & Tradelite are to launch the First Fintech University in the Mogaland Metaverse. CFTE Fintech University will provide cutting edge learning experience for professionals to develop financial and technical skills in Fintech and Digital Finance.This introduces a new way of engaging with and learning about Fintech through taking part in entertaining and insightful activities. |
| At the event, we also announced our strong desire to make another Global Fintech Internship, which is an impact project to help 1,000 students learn about Fintech. For that, CFTE is looking for partners and individuals to join and help. Lastly, CFTE announced the long-awaited RegTech programme, led by CFTE experts: Janos Barberis, co-founder of SuperCharger Ventures, and Douglas Arner, Kerry Holdings Professor in Law at The University of Hong Kong. This new specialisation will equip professionals in financial institutions with the skills to navigate this complex, but ever-growing RegTech sector. CFTE brings 6 senior lecturers and over 15 experts in order to offer the best learning experience to learners. Also, our special appreciation to all the alumni and partners who participated in our panel discussions, where they brought back the memories of their first encounters with CFTE, what has changed for them during those last 5 years, as well as some funny anecdotes from our learning adventure together. For the first panel discussion, Huy invited three incredible leaders and friends with Ronit Ghose, Global Sector Head for Banks and Co-Head of the FinTech Theme Group in Citi Research, Gergely Fábián, Executive Director at Magyar Nemzeti Bank and Anne Vu, Digital Sales Director SaaS at Lloyds Banking Group. They spent the time to share their views on Fintech, the past 5 years and their views the next 5 years. |

| This was a truly special night for CFTE. We spent the last 5 years creating an inclusive and global educational platform in Digital Finance, to give the skills and opportunities of Fintech to everyone. But this wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible CFTE ecosystem, now composed of more than 100,000 alumni and 300 experts. This evening was the culmination of these past years, and on behalf of the entire CFTE team, we would like to thank each and every one of you for being part of this fantastic community.
