On July 18th 2022, CFTE’s Co-founder, Tram Anh Nguyen, was invited to the Bloomsbury Radio to join The Business Show hosted by Arif Zaman.

The discussion was enriched by two amazing guests:

  • Richard Burge, CEO at LCCI
  • Tracy Chang, CEO at Tradlite Solutions

The following conversation covered some of the findings of the Quarterly Economic Survey for Q2 of 2022, concluding that the businesses are especially anxious about the inflation, the cost of borrowing money and the increased price of electricity.

“Around three quarters (of businesses) are worried about inflation

Richard Burge, CEO at LCCI

Next, the key milestones and challenges on the CFTE’s journey were discussed. Tram Anh Nguyen also noticed that the pandemic has actually helped increase the interest in Fintech education, since many people found themselves lacking the relevant skills to work in heavily tech-based environments.

“The pandemic has really accelerated the digitalisation of our industry – in particular finance”

Tram Anh Nguyen, Co-founder at CFTE

The key findings of the Fintech Job Report, which is CFTE’s initiative to help address that educational gap, were also mentioned.

Further to that, the guests talked about esports, the size and current specifications of the gaming industry.

“Globally, around 48% of gamers are women”

Tracy Chang, CEO at Tradlite Solutions
